This type of search commands our complete attention as we establish a series of milestones that we must reach to collect payment of our fee. This level of commitment from both sides is most conducive to open communication about the candidates in the hiring process and thus guarantees the best atmosphere for success.
Another advantage to this arrangement is that it allows us to tell potential candidates that we have been retained to fill this critical position. While recruiting candidates it makes your opportunity stand out among others. As soon as a search has been identified as retained or engaged, the perception in the mind of the prospective candidate is that it must be an important position with a first-class organization if they are retaining a search firm to fill it. Under a Retained Search our clients have a dedicated Project Coordinator and Account Executive that work one on one with them throughout the recruitment process. Our clients should expect the following:
Weekly Reports – You will receive summary reports from your Account Executive to track the progression of the search.
In-depth Reference Checks – A detail reference check will be conducted on every candidate presented. References typically will be from Peers, Managers, Subordinates, and Customers.
Candidate Exclusivity for Client Company “No other company will see your candidate”
Until the candidate is disqualified by the client
You will be presented three candidates that match your requirements for an interview within 30 days.
120 days – We guarantee the candidate for a period of up to 120 days
First third of the fee is paid by the client company up-front to bind the commitment.
Second third is paid at a specific time during the search process - either at midpoint in time or after the first candidate's interview.
Final third is paid at the end of the process and is due when the new employee starts. We do not charge expenses other than employer authorized travel.
